nezartdesign: i really saw this. from the ground up to the heavens. via nezart design This photo is beautifully conceptualized, but in a greater sense it also alludes to a profound truth of the sacred geometric proportions of the human form. Within the hand are proportions that reflect the Golden Ratio, also known as Phi, equal to approximately 1.618. Between the segments on a finger, the relationship between one joint to the next equates to Phi; this ratio is also expressed in other proportions of the human body. The Golden Ratio, Phi, is a brilliant design manifested in everything from the leaf and seed arrangements of plants to the dimensions of the planetary orbits in the solar system, all of which truly illustrates a greater interconnectedness beyond mathematics and aesthetics.
